This is a village handman's house called Matsuuta-tei. 

In the history, Tadataka Ino who a geographical surveyor in Edo period, drew the first - ever detailed map of Japan stayed the house during his journey. 

In late years,  Contemporary art exhibition and

some more events have happening in the house.
